The Problem

What Zerro Solves

Every mountain biker knows the moment when a lower saddle would be perfect, but the squat penalty is just too much for your burning legs.

Or the moments, mid-climb or feature, when you realize your saddle’s in the wrong position. But it’s too late. Chaos is unfolding, and you can't afford to lose your line or disrupt your body position over the bike.

Traditional droppers throttle your flow:

-
Pre-squat required: Sitting just to stand immediately after is awkward.
-
Squat penalty: Sometimes you’re too smoked to even drop the post.
-
Pre-commitment required: You need time to squat - lose rhythm and break flow.
-
No mid-line correction: Get it wrong, and you're stuck.
-
No mistake eraser: No recovery mid-feature. No fix on the fly.
-
The squat tax adds up: Over a long ride or race, that effort compounds.
-
Bad knees feel it more: Those "small" squats aren’t so small anymore.

Zerro allows riders to instantly raise or lower their saddle from the handlebar without squatting, waiting, or relying on stored energy. It works while standing or seated, climbing or descending, in the moments you need it most.
Unlike traditional droppers, Zerro doesn’t use batteries, compressed gas, or complex electronics. There's nothing to recharge or refill. Just simple, reliable on-demand actuation from the handlebar, saving your legs energy - every time, on every ride.

-
Squat-free actuation: Drop or raise your saddle anytime, standing or seated.
-
Energy saver: Preserve legs, lungs, and momentum.
-
Mistake eraser: Correct saddle height on the fly - no penalty.
-
Durable and simple: No batteries, no gas, no maintenance headaches.
-
Cross-compatible: Fits a wide range of mountain bike frames.
Compared to compressed gas systems, Zerro offers less weight, less complexity, and more freedom - with better compatibility and no limits on the number of actuations.

Engineered for efficiency, reliability, and flow, Zerro gives you an edge whether you're racing XC, hammering through technical terrain, or just trying to save your knees for tomorrow’s ride.

Success by elimination.
Zerro is built on subtraction. No squats. No gas. No lag. Just faster decisions, fewer distractions, and better flow. We've taken this philosophy even further: Every "Y" in the chart below highlights a problem we’ve eliminated and that distinguishes us from the competition.

More Details...
Intended Use: Short travel XC endurance racing - and other disciplines that benefit from lightweight energy savings.
Stroke Length: The standard stroke is 100mm, balancing comfort and control for most riders. Stroke length is adjustable in either direction, with input force varying proportionally.
Frame Fit: 27.2 / 30.9 / 31.6 / 34.9mm seat tubes
Max Insertion Depth: Shallow, approx. 175mm for all sizes
Remote Control: Ambidextrous SRAM Matchmaker-compatible dual-trigger style with multi-axis reach adjustment or twist-grip

Early versions require internal routing for two cable housings. Some frames might need modification to accommodate (e.g. enlarging the port opening or bypassing integrated channels – similar to the early days of dropper posts). Please check with your frame manufacturer first. A single housing upgrade is in development.
